What's the worst sin in the bible? 2:
So now that you have had time to think about what you believe is the worst sin, let's take a look. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit, that's the one right there. Why? You may ask is that the worst, well because the Bible says it is. It says in Mathew 12:31-32 that all sin and blasphemy will be forgiven of man, but if you SPEAK against the Holy Spirit, this will NOT be forgiven. So, why did I put speak in Caps? Because I have argued with MANY, including preachers and so called scholars about what it means to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Many believe the only way to do so is to deny Christ to your death because only the Holy Spirit moves you to Salvation, but then they say you don't get the Holy Ghost till you are saved, so how can He move you to Salvation if you don't get Him till you are already saved? Besides, the Bible CLEARLY states SPEAKING against the Holy Spirit. But that is the one that will condemn you forever. Paul said "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are PROFITABLE" In other words, since Jesus died for PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE SIN, His blood covers all, but, things that you do, forgiven or not, can be your demise. He was speaking to the people in Corinth where FORNICATION was legal and was trying to say, just because it's legal, doesn't make it okay or not sin. You go around fornicating enough, you are going to end up with either a disease, an unwanted pregnancy, or you might take someone home that cuts your throat before you even do the deed! I'm not a saint, I like wine, and yes the wine in the Bible WOULD get you drunk for all of you who believe there was no alcohol in the wine of the Bible, and I smoke, is it going to send me to hell? Of course not, does it make my life better? Well if I am stressed out, I convince myself it does, but no, it doesn't. I watched my mother get lung cancer from smoking, and even though I don't believe smoking causes all cancer, her cancer was specific to smoking. As long as you don't let it be your master, like being a drunk, and as long as you don't GET drunk and do sinful things, a glass or two, and I don't mean a Big Gulp sized glass, ain't gonna send you to hell. But there are those two lists of people who WILL NOT inherit the kingdom, so you have to stay away from those, but remember the second list gives a very special group of people that will not see the Kingdom and those people are COWARDS! So the next time you should act on something and you COP OUT by saying "Oh God will take care of that" remember you are being a COWARD and that is something you don't want to be. Speak up, speak out, and BE BRAVE!!!!!
